A House with History and Heart
This house was originally built in 1974 and has been rented to guests since its early years. The Bergchalet Branter is more than just a vacation spot. In 2020, we renovated and modernized it with great attention to detail without losing any of its rustic mountain charm, and we have lived in this house for several years.
Today, we’d like to share this special place with you. We invite you to experience the tranquility we value so deeply, set amidst the exceptional natural beauty of the Wildschönau.
A Family Project Dear to Our Hearts
Living at 1,200 meters above sea level is both our calling and our elixir of life. Together with our two daughters and our parents/parents-in-law, we live and work on the farm, taking care of it together as a family. Everyone lends a hand—whether in the barn, in the forest, or with our passion project, Bergchalet Branter. Hard work, strong family ties across generations, and a deep love for our homeland are the foundation of our everyday life.
Our Home Becoming a Guesthouse
After we lovingly renovated the Bergchalet Branter in 2020, this house was our own home. We know every nook and cranny; we’ve laughed and lived here. Since we now live on the adjacent farm, we’ve decided to open this gem to guests. It is our heartfelt wish to share with you the peace, the sweeping views, and the wonderful nature of the Wildschönau—which we are privileged to experience every day.
